The Works – Take a Look

theworks-logo

Thanks to The Works, who kindly sent me an academic diary for 2017/18.  So many stores on the high street now, but also a great range online too – and if you see something online, you can select it, and go and collect it from your nearest outlet.

With my MC work in particular, an academic diary is really handy – i’m starting to get bookings for next year, and it means I can make a note of them.  I have two diaries – I have a planner, with my daily to-do lists, and a daily diary, where I write my journal and thoughts – and I’ve done this since 2005!  I started out with my journal by keeping an A5 Day to Page Diary, but now have expanded to an A4 Day to a Page, somehow I manage to fill a page each day with my thoughts!

So, whatever diary  you’re looking for – The Works will have something for you, and if you have anyone you know who’s going back to school, college or university, then all your stationery needs can be sorted here.

Chris:  There is a video preview on TV Player right now – and the action will be unencrypted on Saturday night between 18:30 and 19:30, after that, you will need to purchase the box office event.  Great that ITV Box Office have provided more options to watch the fight, and TV Player is a great platform to do this.

Sport on Freeview Up to July 7th 2017

Hello all, welcome to this week’s blog.  Sorry for the delay in getting this uploaded – but normal service has now resumed!  There is a LOT of sport in the next ten/eleven days, so will keep adding it – come back for more updates to this page!  Please note, Front Runner has now closed on Freeview Channel 91.  You will need to retune to receive six BBC Red Button channels – if your TV can receive Freeview HD channels, then you should be able to receive them.  Enjoy the Tennis and the Tour De France this week!  Chris

SPORT ON S4C THIS WEEKEND

Catch all the action from the vital second test between the All Blacks and the British and Irish Lions comes from the Westpac Stadium, Wellington. Having suffered defeat in the first test in Auckland, the task facing the visitors to avoid a series defeat at the hands of the present world champions is simply colossal. Join Catrin Heledd and the team from 19.30 on Saturday 1 July, for extended highlights and analysis, with commentary from Wyn Gruffydd and Dafydd Jones. (S)

AND watch highlights of the 8th round of the World Rally Championship from Poland in the company of Emyr Penlan, on Ralïo+. Plus, as the BRC travels to Ypres for the first time in its history, we’ll be keeping an eye on the Welshmen competing in the 4th round. Watch from 18.30 on Monday 3 July.
